The monitoring committee is currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the regulations governing gatherings of people and restrictions on potential meeting venues.
The NCP Chlorchem Monitoring Committee was established as a requirment of the RoD (Record of Decision). It provides a platform for stakeholders to discuss issues, originating from the NCP Chlorchem operations in the Cato Ridge area of KwaZulu-Natal.
NCP Chlorchem provide reports to the stakeholders on their complaince to the environmental authorisations, their schedule trade permit and any activities that may be of interest or impact on the communtiy and their neighbours.
The aim is to pro-actively engage between the Community, Industry and the Municipality on issues affecting the Community.
