Phelamanga was appointed as the independent facilitator to assist Engage Engineering in collaboration with Climate Legal, COEX Environmental Planners and the IMA Trader team as they prepared the Hulamin (PTY) Ltd and Isizinda Aluminium (Pty) Ltd application for postponement of compliance timeframes of the Minimum Emissions Standards (MES) in terms of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (No. 39 of 2004). 
The applications are for the Hulamin sites at Edendale and Campsdrift and the Isizinda site in Richards Bay.

The application was advertised from 4 July 2019 in various local newspapers, documents are available online and hard copies are available at the following venues:

Hulamin, Moses Mabhida Rd, Pietermaritzburg

Isizinda 4 Harbour Arterial Rd, Richards Bay

The Comment period is from 4 July to 13 August 2019.
