Phelamanga is providing the Public Participation support to Ground Truth for the WULA for Clover Dairies, Queensburgh.

A public meeting was held on 10 February 2026.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A WATER USE LICENSE FOR CLOVER DAIRIES, QUEENSBURGH, DURBAN, KWA-ZULU NATAL PROVINCE (WULA Ref WU45935)

Notice is hereby provided of an application for a Water Use License (WUL) in terms of Section 41 (4) of the National Water Act (Act No. 36 of 1998) for the Clover SA Dairies, manufacturing and processing plant, Queensburgh, Durban. To lighten the burden on the existing water supply infrastructure Clover SA proposes a project that will entail a weir and abstraction point within the uMhlatuzana River, for treatment and use within the processing plant and discharge to the Municipal uMhlatuzana Waste Water Treatment Works.
